Certainly would recommend
The staff were superb, really helpful and always happy to advise and recommend places to go and see as well as where to eat :) The location was great, right of the main street, slightly hidden, but the views from the terrace were great :)
It's not that I didn't like, just to say- if like us, you're there to see the world and live an adventure, then it's bang on, if you're there for calm holiday- then I don't think you should stay in Medina overall- very busy place to be

What would you highlight about Hotel Zagora
Cheap and cheerful Riad
Of course I have stayed in better Riads in Morocco, but for the price I paid, I can't fault it too much. My room had two beds, a clothes rack, a window, a nightstand and a small sink with a mirror, all very basic but clean in general, I only found a couple of hairs on my sheets but I understand that this may be from the cleaning girls. They also gave me towels. I always found the shared bathroom and shared shower on the ground floor in good condition, and I never had problems with hot water. What I would like to mention and highlight is the kindness of the guys at the Reception, Mohamed and the night receptionist (I'm sorry I don't remember his name but it was something like Rachid or Hamid?), both very friendly, always willing to help, and extremely welcoming! In short, good value for money for the area, I would definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a simple place to sleep in the heart of Marrakesh.
In my opinion, yes, the sink is tiny, and it would also be nice to have a small closet or hangers to hang clothes. I agree with other opinions about the temperature of the rooms at night, it was very cold, but in my case, having two beds, I was able to use the two blankets and thank goodness, because I needed them. In 5 nights, I did not notice that my room was cleaned, a rather negative point for me. It would be great if they also offered breakfast, even if it was basic, like most accommodations in the area.

Best value hotel in the middle of Marrakesh
The hotel is on the footsteps of the main market. Easy access in and out. Clean place, however, my sheet had a stain and a hair on it but the rest of the room was looked after. They had a warm blanket to use at night which was a very handy as night in January are a bit chilly. A lady washed my towel which was a nice gesture. Internet was ok. Staff was nice and helpful.
Hot water was limited. Had only a few minutes before it ran out.
